The OISS provides services for the international students here on the Rutgers- Newark Campus. OISS advises students on an individual basis on isssues related to employment, immigration, and personal matters. The office serves as a representative and advocate for foreign strudents in dealing with the U.S. and foreign government agencies, campus offices, departments, and community members. Advice on immigration includes general information on your rights and responsibilities, school transfer procedures, extensions of stay, work authorization, and practical training experience.
